Took a day off and stayed at the Sykora residence. What a great family! Ran into St. Cloud and picked up a few supplies and did a little recon of Sauk Rapids. The water was low so the rapids looked fairly easy.
I got to meet Tony’s mother, A very sweet woman. We ate a fantastic dinner; steak, baked potatoes, corn on the cob, salad, and a pineapple upside down cake AND strawberry-rhubarb pie!! So good!
We tried a little fishing with no luck and then planned tomorrow’s launch. That day was a lot of fun. It felt good to laugh a little and feel accepted.
